I have been working as a team lead in rotor blade service for two years. In my job as a service technician, I get around a lot. We are constantly out in the fresh air and often in beautiful places where nature is still untouched. Being in charge of your own schedule and working hand in hand with a great team to find the best solutions is an exciting job. It’s a really great place to work.
At Buss, you have a workplace with a future, great cooperation with our team support in the Lübeck office, a special team spirit and sometimes a bit of a thrill.
I have been Warehouse & Fleet Manager since 2007. I also work as an internal trainer for recurring courses such as the annual hydraulics briefings. The special thing about my job is the versatility: organizing, tool & logistics management, support services for projects. The big challenge in the project business is to keep a cool head when challenges arise.
The wind power sector is a relatively young, dynamic industry, and people know and help each other. In my opinion, the ability to work in a team is therefore a basic requirement for working in the wind industry.
I work in team support in Lübeck and look after some of our service technicians in rotor blade service. For me, Buss is the first employer where I immediately felt comfortable and who is always open and focused on finding solutions to problems. For my varied job, a functioning team is immensely important and always comes first for me. Without that, my job would only be half the fun. In Lübeck, we have all known each other for a long time and know how everyone ticks. We have a great team here and each of us really appreciates the team spirit.
Immediately after my Master's degree, I started as a project manager in the offshore wind energy sector. I was given a lot of responsibility from day one. During the last years, I had the opportunity to develop continuously, whether through varied tasks or trainings. Buss promotes its employees actively and purposefully. This also allowed an internal change to the management of the operational department in the rotor blade service. I look forward to the new and challenging tasks.
I have been passionately working in the wind industry in different positions since 2014. At Buss, I work in project management and dispatching. My tasks include the successful implementation of individual projects - from initial planning to the first commissioning of the wind turbines. I also take care of the project-specific scheduling of all employees. It is always a great feeling to successfully complete a project together. Wind energy is an important pillar of the energy transition. Being able to contribute a small part to this with my work gives me a good feeling every day.
